Dr. Fatoumata Sylla is a distinguished public health researcher and medical doctor dedicated to improving women's health outcomes globally. With extensive experience in epidemiology, her work focuses primarily on the long-term health consequences of female genital mutilation (FGM) and the epidemiological patterns of uterine fibroids.
She is currently affiliated with Inserm and CESP, where she leads interdisciplinary projects bridging clinical findings with public health policy. Her research has been instrumental in shaping new guidelines for maternal care and reproductive health interventions.
